Requirements for Different Membership Categories Full Member: Must be Licensed/Certified through Vermont's Department of Education as a School Psychologist, hold a National Certification as a School Psychologist (NCSP), or be a Full Member to the National Association of School Psychologists (does not include associate or student members to NASP). Associate Member: Includes professionals who are not currently licensed/certified as a School Psychologist by Vermont's Department of Education, but who have an interest in school psychology and/or work for schools. This includes Licensed Practicing Psychologists who do not currently hold the Vermont School Psychology license, and Associate members of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). Student Member: Includes students in school psychology or other graduate level psychology training programs, as well as School Psychology Interns or Clinical Psychology interns (who have an interest in school psychology) working in schools or private practice settings who work with schools.
